The Orchestra Academy of the Alpen Classica Festival brings together talented young musicians from the Euregio (Tyrol, South Tyrol, Trentino) for an intensive musical experience with rehearsals, concerts and professional accompaniment.

Who can participate?
The Academy is open to advanced students and young musicians from conservatories, and universities in the Euregio (Tyrol, South Tyrol, Trentino).

Yes. Participants are selected through an application process that may include a video audition.

The Academy lasts one intensive week, including rehearsals, sectionals and final concerts.

The rehearsal week takes place in a central Euregio location – Brixen at the Priesterseminar, followed by concerts across the Euregio regions.

Yes. Accommodation and full board are provided for the duration of the academy.

The program includes major symphonic works, original and new compositions.

Yes, all participants receive a certificate of participation.

Rehearsals and communication are held in German and Italian – since it is an Euregio Project – depending on the tutors and participants.

No there is no participation fee.
