The Saxfest takes place every autumn and brings together saxophonists from all over Europe.

The focus is on masterclasses, workshops and concerts at the highest level, a platform for exchange, inspiration and musical excellence.

The Saxfest is open to saxophonists of all ages and levels – from young students to professionals and enthusiasts.

No, the festival is open to anyone who wishes to actively participate.

The Saxfest runs for four days every November.

The Saxfest takes place in Brixen (Italy) in the “Priesterseminar” (Seminargasse, 4, 39042 Brixen, Autonome Provinz Bozen – Südtirol).

Daily masterclasses with renowned international and Euregio teachers, concerts, lectures, brand exhibitions and a final gala concert with orchestra.

The competition is no longer held during the Saxfest. More information about the next edition will be announced soon.

Yes, passive participation (e.g. as an observer in masterclasses) is also possible.

No, accommodation and food are not included in the course fee and must be paid for separately.
However, you can stay directly at the course venue at the Priesterseminar (Seminargasse, 4, 39042 Brixen, Autonome Provinz Bozen – Südtirol) with full board. Please note that availability is limited and spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Detailed booking information will be provided immediately upon registration.

Yes, all active participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Classes are held in Italian, German, or English, depending on the teacher.

Registration is done online through a form. A detailed call for applications is published ahead of time with all necessary information.

Course fee single participant: 450,00 €

Course fee quartet: 850,00 €

Course fee passive participant: 100,00 €

Accommodation per day (full board) – single room: 75,00 €

Accommodation per day (full board) – double/triple room: 60,00 €
