A chamber ensemble composed of four tubas: two tenor tubas, one bass tuba and one contrabass tuba. The quartet was founded by a group of renowned musicians with the aim of exploring and showcasing the characteristics and possibilities that this type of ensemble can offer, and of raising awareness of the tuba and euphonium by presenting a youthful and lively image of these instruments to the public. The repertoire ranges from original works to transcriptions, demonstrating that the euphonium and, above all, the tuba have their place as solo instruments. The musicians’ stated aim is to combine classical and modern music in their programmes, thereby highlighting the multifaceted versatility of their instruments.
