The Trio Mayr Benedikter Sinn was formed through the collaboration of three musicians united by the desire to explore new sonic landscapes in an original ensemble consisting of two saxophones and organ. The project offers a fascinating musical journey that blends tradition and modernity, creating an intense dialogue between the refinement of classical music and the expressive energy of crossover.

The trio’s repertoire spans different eras and musical languages, bringing together the timeless works of Johann Sebastian Bach with the compelling contemporary compositions of Hans André Stamm, the South Tyrolean composer Thomas Mahlknecht, and the evening’s featured musician, Werner Mayr. These diverse musical voices merge into an engaging program rich in tonal contrasts, solemn atmospheres, and moments of deep emotional intensity.

Thanks to the unique sound combination of two saxophones and organ, the Trio Mayr Benedikter Sinn offers audiences an original and evocative concert experience, highlighting both the monumental power of the organ and the versatility and warmth of the saxophone. The result is an elegant and accessible concert that appeals to a wide audience.
