Fono duo

Fonoduo are a guitar duet known for performing original compositions, interpretations of their own orchestral and piano arrangements as well as improvised forms, and vibrant Brazilian music.Their classical background evokes influences from many musical genres and époques. They create picturesque shows by accentuating, dynamic range and sensitivity of their instruments. Odée and Juliusz met at the Conservatory of Amsterdam where they study with Gabriel Bianco. They have participated in many masterclasses taught by Paulo Bellinati, Thibaut Garcia, Judicaël Perroy, Lorenzo Micheli, Andrea de Vitis, among others.Fonoduo's versatility allows them to work with singers, dancersand visual artists. Such projects include collaborations with soprano NinaSpinosi, contemporary dancer Salya Berraf and many other international artists.Over the last three years they’ve performed at more than 50 concerts together. Fonoduo’s perfor mances include: Het Concertgebouw, Tivoli Vredenburg (NL) Petit Palais Paris, Dijon Auditorium (FR)They’ve also performed in Belgium, Poland,Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland.They’ve been invited to numerous music festivals such us Grachtenfestival, Indoors Chamber music festival, Amsterdam Chamber Music festival, la Grange en folie, etc. They arelaureates of: Ligita International Guitar Competition, Gorizia Guitar competition, La Folia Nuova chamber music competition, Les Musicales du Centre chamber music competition, Vršac chamber music competition to name a few. Odée and Juliusz were also hosted by radio stations such as NPO, Concertzender, FranceBleu Lorraine andFrance Bleu Aquitaine.They are currently working on their debut album. Debut single “sentinel” is out now on all streaming platforms.
